South Beach Sessions - Patti Smith

Notas do episódio

Patti Smith is an icon, a wordsmith, a dreamer. But she would never call herself a musician. Patti joins Dan on South Beach Sessions, explaining why she has always seen herself as a performer, first. She speaks about her upbringing, her ability to wander as a child, and the powerful presence of writing in her life. Patti also touches on her inspirations and evolution as an artist... and how the presence (and absence) of those inspiring people drives her forward. Of course, there are also her stories about meeting the Pope, her most moving performance, and what it means to her for her work to touch people across generations around the world. Patti's latest bestseller, "Bread of Angels: A Memoir", is now available in paperback, hardcover, eBook, audio, and wherever you get your books.
