The financiers of destruction

Notas do episódio

In this episode, we explore the findings of the report "The Financiers of the Herd," which uncovers the influence of agribusiness multinationals—particularly those involved with the Instituto Pensar Agro (IPA)—on socio-environmental dismantling in Brazil. The report analyzes how these corporations lobby the government, focusing on their participation in meetings with the Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA), project funding, and their role in shaping public policies that favor agribusiness. Additionally, we discuss how these groups extend their influence beyond Brazil, impacting international policies and markets.
