(EN) #4 Nuno Silva Pereira: Team Musicality!

Notas do episódio

Have you ever met someone from a completely different background, and in this case, even country of birth, and suddenly you realize how much in common you both have? In this first-ever English episode of "From Coders to Leaders," I had the pleasure of sitting down with Nuno Silva Pereira, Lead Business Agility & OKRs Coach, where I learned we share the same taste regarding Noise Cancelling, eye-glasses shape, Heavy Metal bands (and instruments), and views regarding Team Leadership. 🥁 Finding the Rhythm in Leadership As the first guest who is a Leader without a "coder background", Nuno shares how studying Business Management and Music taught him that leadership, is all about finding the right rhythm and connecting with your team, even if you’re not the one playing the solos. 🎺 Building a Creative Jam Session Leading a tech team can feel like orchestrating a jam session—everyone brings their own expertise, and sometimes it's up to the leader to create a space where harmony can emerge. Nuno explains how he encourages creativity and collaboration, making sure that every team member’s “instrument” is heard. 🎵 Overcoming the Discords Every band hits a few bad notes, and Nuno reflects on the challenges he’s faced in keeping the team playing in sync. He also talks about the victories that come when you allow creativity to flourish. 🎙️ Encore: Tune In for a Fresh Take If you're curious about how to lead a tech band without playing an instrument, Nuno’s story is packed with insights on creativity, collaboration, and finding your own way to lead.
