Notas do episódio

How the trauma of having been poor affects our lives Como o trauma de ter sido pobre afeta nossa vida In this conversation with psychoanalyst Kályton Resende, a pioneer in the study of the “Trauma of Poverty” in Brazil, we explore how the experience of poverty leaves invisible marks that continue to shape individuals even after socioeconomic ascent. We discuss class neuroses, the subjective effects of social mobility, and the need to symbolically reconstruct one’s own story. This episode invites critical reflection on how material achievements may not erase inner wounds but can instead be transformed into creative potential.
