Connosco, Calvin Robinson ✝️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

🇵🇹: Hoje entrevisto o Padre Calvin Robinson. A ele, Ex.mo Padre Calvin Robinson, agradeço a participação no Jornalisticamente Falando. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿: Today I interview Father Calvin Robinson. He is Catholic, he is British and he is highly respected both in the UK and in the MAGA (Make America Great Again) circle in the US, where he now resides. In January 2025, Father Calvin Robinson was expelled from his congregation after a speech he gave at the American National Pro-Life Summit. The reason? The farewell greeting he gave at the end of his speech. Accused of being a 'Nazi' for copying the salute previously made by Elon Musk, the British priest, known for stating that Catholicism should not bow to 'homosexuality', was expelled from his congregation. Calvin Robinson (priest) was already under the critical eye of liberals: he is anti-homosexuality, but admits in this interview that ‘we Catholics must love them’. While it is true that liberals congratulated themselves on the arrival of this moment, it is also true that a movement that had already flirted with their ideas embraced it: MAGA. Since then, Father Calvin Robinson - as he is called in Anglo-Saxon languages - has defended himself, commenting that what he said while performing the salute was a 'provocative joke', a 'mockery of the hysterical 'liberals' who nicknamed Elon Musk a 'Nazi' for clearly showing that his heart was with the audience, only'. Calvin Robinson also participated in President Trump's rallies in 2024, even being with him personally and recording the moment in a photo, posted on his Instagram account. To him, His Excellency Father Calvin Robinson, I thank you for participating in Jornalisticamente Falando.
