EP90 - Social Presencing Theater: a tecnologia social do invisível, com Arawana Hayashi

Notas do episódio

Bom play! (EN) In this episode, I had an incredible conversation with Arawana Hayashi, who shares, with a light touch, what the early years of developing Social Presencing Theater alongside Otto Scharmer and Peter Senge were like. Social Presencing Theater is a social technology that does not rely on mental processes, but on a collective and physically integrated understanding that stems from this reversal: perceive before interpreting. Feel before naming. Presencing — the combination of presence and perception. Social — what is built collectively. Theater — that which becomes visible when we make space. Arawana reminds us that not everything we know passes through thought. There is a quieter intelligence that reveals itself when we slow down enough to perceive—in the body, in space, in the encounter with the other. Throughout the conversation, we touched on the idea that we carry stories—our own and those of those who came before us—that remain alive within us. But at the same time, there is the possibility of not getting stuck in them. Of making space. Because, often, what seems blocked does not need to be “resolved” by force, but felt deeply enough for something new to emerge. In a time marked by acceleration, anxiety, and the difficulty of sustaining silence, perhaps this episode is a simple invitation: to slow down, set aside certainties, and listen to what is already in motion, even before it has a name.
