003ECOS de FATIMA: Contexto Histórico das Aparições

Notas do episódio

Understanding the apparitions of Fatima in a broader historical context is a necessary effort insofar as it seeks an interpretation or understanding that takes into account both its particular place in the history of authentic Marian apparitions in Heaven, as well as its importance that makes it possible to visualize the Message of Fatima today. The event of the Message of Fatima also implies the participation of people who were in that historical context. We will not be able to understand the meaning and scope of the Fatima Message if we do not consider the reactions, attitudes, acceptances and rejections it caused. The historical scenario of that time was basically composed of the following events: the First World War, the second event of this scenario it was the change of the monarchy system by the republican system that occurred in Portugal in 1910. The third event in this scenario was constituted by a Catholicism under reconstruction at that time lived in Portugal, mainly in the great urban and intellectual centers. The fourth event in this scenario was verified by the different ideological currents that existed in Portugal at the time of the apparitions. The fifth event in this scenario was the political context experienced at that time in Russia, which triggered two revolutions in that year of 1917, by which socialism came to power and the communist ideology came to have a profound influence on the country and on the international stage. Our Lady at the apparitions in Fatima asked a lot for the conversion of Russia.
