Maria Santíssima - vencedora pela Fé

Notas do episódio

Catechism of the Catholic Church: 144. To obey (ob-audire) in faith is to submit freely to the word heard, because its truth is guaranteed by God, which is the truth itself. Of this obedience, the model that Sacred Scripture proposes to us is Abraham. His most perfect achievement is that of the Virgin Mary. 2853. The victory over the "prince of this world" was achieved, once and for all, in the "Hour" when Jesus freely gave himself up to death to give us his life. It was the judgment of this world, and the prince of this world was "cast out". "He began to persecute the Woman" (Rev 12, 13), but he did not succeed in reaching her: the new Eve, "full of grace" of the Holy Spirit, was preserved from sin and the corruption of death (Immaculate Conception and Assumption of the most holy Mother of God, Mary, always Virgin). Then, "furious against Women, he went to war with the rest of his descendants" (Rev. 12:17). This is why the Spirit and the Church pray: «Come, Lord Jesus!» (Ap 22, 17.20), since his coming will free us from the Evil One.
