Mensagem do idoso.

Notas do episódio

“Se meu andar é hesitante e minhas mãos trêmulas, ampare-me. Sinto-me só. .” (Poema do idoso – Autor Desconhecido). “If my walk is hesitant and my hands are shaking, support me. If my hearing is not good, and I have to work hard to hear what you are saying, try to understand me. If my vision is imperfect and my understanding is scarce, help me with patience. If my hand shakes and I drop food on the table or on the floor, please don't be angry, I tried to do what I could. If you find me on the street, don't pretend you haven't seen me. Stop to talk to me. I feel alone. If you, in your sensitivity, see me sad and alone, simply share a smile with me and be supportive. If I told you the same story for the third time in one day, don't scold me, just listen to me. If I behave like a child, surround me with affection. If I am sick and being a burden, do not abandon me. If I am afraid of death and I try to deny it, please help me in preparing for goodbye. ” (Poem of the elderly - Author Unknown).
