Mostly known for her poetry compositions, Sylvia Plath was and remains one of the 20th century's most vibrant and respected writers; her poetry and her autobiographical novel The Bell Jar both attest to this. "Mad Girl's Love Song" is a poem written by Sylvia Plath in 1953, when Plath was at Smith College. The poem, one of Plath’s most famous, is a portrait of the destabilizing nature of heartbreak.
