Brandweer Curaçao - Kandela Grrrrr 🔥

Notas do episódio

Wapu podcast’s guest for episode #071 is Shurendy Pieter and Andy Loefstok 👨🏾‍🚒 Shurendy is currently a firefighter officer. Becoming a firefighter was not in his plans, because he studied civil engineering and work in this industry too! On a certain point in his life, he saw a vancancy to become a firefighter and applied for it 👊🏽 After some time, he managed to become a firefighter with high rank! He does not work in the field, but he creates the strategies on how to tackle the area on fire 🔥 On the other hand, Andy has almost 40 year of experience. He started as militar and then specialized himself as a firefighter. He was operationally more involved than Shurandy. This year will be his last year as he is going on retirement. In this episode, we talked about being a firefighter on Curaçao, the equipment and methods that they use in the workfield and of course the “monetario compensation” a noobie can get 👀
