Construction Series | Felipe De Vicente

Notas do episódio

Construction is a series by the artist Felipe De Vicente that aims, as its name suggests, to create geometric constructions within squares, through pure geometric abstraction. These unusual constructions of saturated color blocks are inspired by the works of the artist Piet Mondrian and also by the constructivism of Kazimir Malevich. These squares with irregular color blocks stimulate the imagination and creativity of spectators, who seek to find a sense and meaning beyond the simple geometric concretion. The irregularity of the geometric blocks together with the saturated colors produce a unique, thought-provoking and provocative visual.
