Carefully thought, the literature chosen for 9th grade was Persuasion, by the renowned English writer Jane Austen. The novel transports the student to the 19th century and reveals the role of women in the society at that time, with a lot of drama and family relationships. During the reading, the students reflected on the influence of certain behaviors in current times. They prepared presentations for the whole class, decided to record a podcast raising common points of 19th century society and today's society, and researched the importance of the writer in the world of literature.
