Notas do episódio

(EN) This week we are pleased to welcome the European CUP finalists, Carolina Silva, Patrícia Lima and Sandra Santiago! Last month, they marked Atlético de Guardés by putting the club in the first European final in its history. After a six-goal victory in the first leg, it was difficult to predict any outcome other than the festive atmosphere at La Guardia. At a time when they were playing for a place in the semi-finals of the championship, they were also fighting for the European title. The trips, tiredness, the demanding and high level for three consecutive months may have been key points in the final result. However, all stories always have more than one side and this one is no exception. In addition, we will also talk about the intense schedule, the lack of promotion in Portugal in a competition like this, which was not broadcast by any Portuguese media, the strength of a group and how important this is to win games, to relativize tough defeats in particular contexts, the return to La Guardia and the affection that the Galician people have for their athletes. All this and much more, because there is always the other side of the story.
