George McMurtry, director at Intercon and Dynamox partner in Australia, with a background in instrumentation and years of experience in industrial reliability, explains how he helps customers move away from manual, intermittent data collection - done every 4 to 6 weeks and prone to human error - toward continuous online monitoring of virtually any rotating asset, and reveals the challenge that nearly became a real problem: how can you trust a failure curve when you only see the equipment from time to time, risking a breakdown with no warning between one reading and the next? Subscribe to the channel so you don't miss the next episodes of DynaTalks! At your plant, is data collection still manual and done from time to time, or do you already have continuous monitoring?
